The most effective technique against baldness is hair transplantation. Performed by a surgeon in the operating room under local anesthesia, it is to implement the bald area of the scalp of a patient, hair removed (using different techniques) at his Hippocratic wreath (rear and sides of skull), where hair is genetically programmed to last a lifetime, eliminating the falling hair implanted later.

Each graft was separated microscopically follicular unit (1 or 2 hair like a hair transplant), but the receiving holes are made with fine needles of 0.75 to 1 mm in diameter. The follicular unit extraction differs with “strip”, it is carried out using a tiny bit of a millimeter in diameter which leaves scars microscopic and invisible in the area prelevevement (avoiding sew the scalp as in the case of samples of strips).
Implantation of grafts into smaller and smaller requires the establishment of an increasing number of grafts to achieve a good density of hair. This search for a natural look, involves the use of a large number of grafts, including the extraction, preparation and implementation require a large technical staff and a more trained to reduce the preparation time which can vary, depending on the extent of baldness, 3 to 8 hours. A session of hair implantation takes about 2-3 hours.
Once the regrowth of hair graft and resumed harvesting areas have healed, no special care is expected and all the hair can be maintained like any natural hair.
